What we collect ourselves
The game has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your progress and settings stay on your device and are deleted with the game. There is no cloud save. We receive game statistics without personal details through Google Analytics (section 2).
Analytics
To understand how the game is played (which day and chapter players reach, whether the tutorial is clear, how often the fuel runs out, whether ads and the shop work), the game sends game events to Google Analytics for Firebase — day and chapter numbers, product and ad placement IDs, and numbers. We never send your name, email, any text, or an account.
Google Analytics also collects automatically an app instance ID, your device model and OS version, language, country (derived from the IP address, which is not stored), the game's version and session length, and — with your consent where the law requires it — the advertising ID, to measure the game's ad campaigns. Google Analytics receives Google Play purchases (product and price) and ad impressions (with their revenue) from Google Play and AdMob. Google Signals is off: we do not link this data to a Google account.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland analytics runs only with your consent in the consent form; without it the game sends nothing to analytics. You can change your choice in the game's settings: Privacy › Ads and data. Data is kept for up to 14 months. How Google uses data: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Ads
The game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, its App Set ID, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP, how you interact with ads, and crash diagnostics of the ads SDK. Personalised ads are shown only with your consent where the law of your country requires it; you can change your choice in the game's settings (Privacy › Ads and data). How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Purchases
Purchases and the subscription are handled by Google Play. We only receive confirmation that an item was bought — never your payment details.
Who processes the data
The developer (contacts above) is responsible for the game's data. For analytics, Google is a processor acting on our behalf under the Firebase terms. For ads, Google is an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Data collected by Google may be processed on Google servers outside your country. Data is sent encrypted.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices
You can reset your advertising ID in Android settings and change your ad and analytics consent in the game's settings (where it is asked). Progress and settings are erased with the game. Analytics data Google has already received is deleted on request to thelongshift@allsteeply.com: tell us which device you played on and when, and we will file the deletion request with Google. Any other questions: the same address.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and mention them in the game's update notes.
